Working with Groups: Please review details on finding your content in the Groups: Find and Edit Content article.
If you are trying to make edits to content that is currently within Drupal, there are a few ways to find the content as outlined below. Please make sure you only edit web content that you oversee.
Option 1: Use the Content Section
Within the Content tab, the Content Administration display allows you to manage all types of content - webpages, files, and media. The default "view" displays content, which in most cases is your webpages. If you want to view files or media, click the appropriate tab.
- Filtering: You can filter content by using the Published Status, Content Type, Title, and/or Authored By fields then clicking the Filter button. Since the site has thousands of pieces of content, it is best to filter by a unique characteristic of the piece of content you are looking for. For example, a specific word in the title or the author's info in the Authored By field.
- Viewing: To view a piece of content, click on the respective Title in the left-hand column for the content you want to view. This will open the content to view. (Tip: It may be best to open it in a new tab.) This step is helpful if you need to confirm which is the correct webpage you want to edit.
- Editing: Once you’ve determined the correct content you want to edit, click the Edit button for that row, under the Operations column.
Option 2: My Content
We’ve created a display that shows content you have authored or modified. Please view the My Content article for information on using this feature as an option for finding your content.
Option 3: Use the Website's Navigation
You can use the website's navigation to find the webpage or section you want to edit.
Once viewing the webpage you want to make changes to, you can use the Edit tab that is above the page header, to get to that webpage’s edit screen.
Note: This method will allow you to find pages that have already been created and published. However, this is not the best way to find content that is still in draft or unpublished. The best way to find this type of content is to use the Content or My Content tabs, as described above in Options 1 and 2.
