On October 24, we are moving PublicHealth.JHU.edu to a new hosting environment. We have been working to minimize any impact on your work during this process, but we will need to restrict editor access to transfer the latest content from one platform to another.

Timeline: October 23–24

  • Thursday, October 23, at 5:00 PM – Content freeze begins

  • Friday, October 24, 4-5 PM – Target time for reopening the site to editors.

IMPORTANT: During this timeframe, you WILL NOT be able to make content updates to the BSPH website.

Who’s affected:

  • The public will see no disruption; the site will continue to work as usual, and forms will continue to collect information.

  • Content editors, including group editors, will not have access to the Drupal backend during this period.

  • The content moderation team will not be able to review, approve, or publish changes during this time.

  • Only the Web Team will retain access and be able to make urgent changes if necessary.

We recommend that all content needed by Friday, October 24th, be submitted by Wednesday, October 22nd, to allow the review team time to process beforehand.

Contact the Web Team by submitting a ticket if this affects any deadlines related to your work.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks!
