Restricted Editors and Group Editors can now embed their podcasts on the website. You can add a podcast to your article and other components.

Note: This component can only support individual episode embeds, not playlist embeds. If you need to embed a playlist, you will need to submit a ticket.

Quick Start Overview

  1. Add LibSyn Embed component to your content.
  2. Add to the content
    1. Episode Title - Enter the name of your episode.
It is not visible but is required for iframe accessibility.
    2. Episode ID - When you go to this URL, you must find the episode you want, then click on the embed icon(</>).  These are the numbers found in the embed code. Look for the number after /id/; for example, the “37689400” in the embed code below:
      <iframe title="Libsyn Player" style="border: none" src="//html5-player.libsyn.com/embed/episode/id/37689400/height/90/theme/custom/thumbnail/yes/direction/forward/render-playlist/no/custom-color/fb5600/" height="90" width="100%" scrolling="no"  allowfullscreen webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen oallowfullscreen msallowfullscreen></iframe>
    3. Episode Background color - Heritage Blue will be used if no color is selected..
    4. Caption: Optionally add a caption to include links and details about the episode.
  3. Save, review, and publish your content as normal.

Color Consideration
When adding a background color, ensure the embed and the Component background work together. The colors should complement each other but be noticeably different.
