What is Drupal?
Drupal is the software that drives the School's website and helps users create and edit content without specialized technical knowledge. It is a powerful and flexible content management system, often abbreviated as CMS, used by millions of sites worldwide across industries as varied as academia, marketing, sports, and the news media.
Drupal has evolved over its 20-year history into a Content Management Framework and Digital Experience Platform. Drupal is GPL-licensed software that requires no licensing fees and has no restrictions to modify the code of the software. This openness allows Drupal-based projects, modules, and themes to be developed by a worldwide inclusive community of contributors working together to improve Drupal constantly.
How Do I Request Access to Drupal?
To gain access to Drupal so you can add and edit content, please submit a Help Desk ticket requesting Drupal access, along with the following information:
- Page(s), section(s), or Group(s) you will be working within
- Person who requested you to have access
