Welcome
Your faculty profile is among the most visible representations of your work at the Bloomberg School. This guide walks you through the process of updating and personalizing your profile.
Where to Make Updates
Your faculty profile integrates information from multiple sources.
While most public-facing profile content can be edited on PublicHealth.JHU.edu, some items must be modified in the Faculty Information System (FIS). For some things, you will need to contact the Office of Academic Affairs to make changes on your behalf. Refer to the table below to determine where to make changes.
| What do you need to update? | Where to look |
|---|---|
| Overview, Honors and Awards, Research Interests, Publications, Profile Photo, Power Sentence (Updated as of August 2026) | Learn about editing faculty profiles in Drupal |
| Office address, phone number, degrees, CV | Faculty Information System (FIS)→ |

Information Managed by the Office of Academic Affairs
The Office of Academic Affairs controls certain profile fields, including your name, title, primary email, and affiliations. To request changes to any of these, email Isis Conroy-Tabrizi (itabriz1@jhu.edu).
Changing Your Primary Degree or Designation
You can specify one degree or professional designation to display after your name at the top of your profile page. The remaining designations will appear in the order they were awarded (excluding those beginning with “B”), and all degrees are also listed in the Education section of your profile.

To change which designation is prioritized, email Isis Conroy-Tabrizi (itabriz1@jhu.edu).
Note on FIS sync timing: Changes made in FIS are not immediately reflected on PublicHealth.JHU.edu. FIS data syncs nightly; most updates happen overnight and will be visible the following morning.
