BSPH's Office of External Affairs has an account with Getty Images offering thousands of royalty-free images, icons, and illustrations. These assets are intended for marketing purposes only and not for personal use.

We cannot share login information that would allow you to download images directly. However, we will download images on your behalf.

  • Using this link will limit the results to images stored in our account. If you go directly to the Getty Images website and do not use this link, we cannot guarantee those images will be available.
  • If you see prices on photos, you have likely exited the preview. All images under our account will NOT show any prices.


TIP:
Ensure your stock images appear realistic. Avoid pictures where everyone is overly smiling. Getty recommends using keywords in your searches like: “Authentic”, “Candid”, “Real People”, “Real Life”, “No Make Up”, “Real Bodies”, and “Not Posed”.

Requesting Images


When you're ready to request an image, submit a ticket with the "Creative #" for the selected images, and we will download and send them to you.


We have a limited number of images available through our account, and we can only provide up to 5 images per month for your school projects.


We also ask that you share the intended use for the image(s):

  • Web
  • Print
  • Presentation 
  • Other: (explain)

This helps ensure we download the right image size for your use case.


The Creative # is located in the lower-right corner of the detail page when you click a thumbnail image.



If you don't see the purple Guest Preview banners, then you've exited the preview, and we cannot guarantee the image you're looking at will be available to us. 

Downloading Comps


When you do find an image that suits your needs, you can immediately download the watermarked image for use in comps.



When using comps, the creative # can be found in the originally downloaded file name. For example, see the bold number in this file name: gettyimages-2255945511-170667a.jpg

Do not upload watermarked comps to any BSPH-affiliated websites.They are not licensed for use on public webpages, and the University could face severe penalties if discovered by the rights holders.
